We began our Seed Sowers distributions for the year at the end of March 2026, and we were greatly encouraged with 92 participants. In fellowship with the assembly meeting at Glengormley Gospel Hall, who made sure we were well fed and watered throughout the day, we were able to distribute 20,000 Seed Sower texts across a wide area: Carr’s Glen, Whitewell, Skegoneill, Cavehill, Belfast Castle, Fortwilliam, New Lodge, Cliftonville and Ballysillan. Pray for all the seed sown into homes, and also that emailed to the local Sinn Fein representatives.

We began on the Friday evening, 27th March, for a time of prayer and a word of encouraging ministry from brother Joel Hawthorne. Joel continued his encouraging theme on the Saturday with a short word before we went out and then again at the end of the day. Apart from one heavy shower, the weather was cold but fine, and everyone worked hard to get the texts delivered. Again, a big thanks to Stephen for all his work in organising a well-run day, and for all those behind the scenes who packed the texts, created the maps, arranged for mini-buses etc.
It was an encouragement to hear of Bible being requested that very day, and one man J having received a Bible, came the next day to the Gospel meeting. Over the course of the next few weeks around 60 Bibles were asked for and personally delivered. Ivan and Johnston report MANY good conversations. One amazing contact was N, a former employee of Ivan’s from over 20 years ago. After all that time, they had bumped into each other just two weeks previously, and not knowing the connection, N had requested a Bible. Coincidence???
Another lovely contact was with a dear catholic lady JP, whose first words were “O, my Bible”, and then said that 30 minutes prior to the call at the door, she had prayed that God would give her peace in the midst of her mourning, and send someone to bring her comfort (only God can do this). She lost her little 10 month old grandson to cancer just a year ago. As she pointed to her heart, her words were “I need more than prayers to. priest or beads”. Her son got saved in jail in England and has been telling her she needs salvation.
Waiting for the Mini-bus
