The summer ended with our brothers and sisters at Whipton Chapel organising another Seed Sowers weekend. Being on the bank holiday weekend, some arrived on the Thursday. Our trustee Jim was booked for the weekend to give ministry, but couldn’t arrive until the Friday, so I stepped in for the Thursday evening.
Friday morning, the distribution began, with teams covering areas south of Exeter. After lunch, participants enjoyed free time and fellowship in Exmouth. After dinner, other team members arrived for the weekend, and we are encouraged by the good number of young people to help. Jim gave challenging ministry, encouraging the young believers (and all of us) to take our Christian walk seriously.
Distribution continued through the weekend, as the schedule shows, and enjoyed the sumptious provision of the sisters. All in all 18,000 John 3:16 Seed Sower texts were distributed. We rejoice with the saints at Whipton that there were over 70 Bible requests.
